Community members gathered at Waddell Elementary Saturday night to walk the Woods Creek Trail in an effort to promote healthy living. The fourth annual walk, an initiative of Let’s Move Lexington, attracted kids and adults of all ages. Notable in attendance was Lexington Mayor Mimi Elrod, who walked in the event for the second time. Elrod, along with others, walked a one-mile loop that took them along Woods Creek Trail before turning around at Jordan’s Point. Let’s Move Lexington’s next event is a dog walk at the Virginia Horse Center in October.
