It’s a condition that can go misdiagnosed for years, but sufferers of Lyme disease have found support from the Lexington chapter of National Capital Lyme and Tick-borne Disease Association. Members of the group say they find comfort in learning they are not alone. The chapter counts 70 people in its contact list. Members hope that increased awareness of the disease and its symptoms will help doctors diagnose it sooner.
