Buena Vista teachers and administrators are searching for ways to offer improved technology and engineering education to their students, despite a tight budget.
They say they hope improvements and an emphasis on interactivity will encourage students to pursue associate and college degrees that may help them land high-tech jobs in the future.
The first step in this search process was a panel Wednesday at Parry McCluer High School, featuring experts on engineering and technology education. The panelists offered advice and encouragement, but teachers and administrators will need more than that to power the improvements they want to make to their technology programs.
