A Head Start on Learning: Buena Vista Child Development Center Serves Families in Need

By Alex Cummings

Buena Vista’s Early Head Start program gives hope to low-income families by providing an enriching environment where children three and under can thrive. The service is only available to parents who fall below the poverty line but are actively working or going to school.

Early Head Start aims to teach children the basics in appropriate conduct, social interaction and emotional stability before sending them to preschool.

The Early Head Start team strives to boost positive parent-child relationships in order to support healthy student development.
