The city has decided that the 40 R.E. Lee building residents must relocate by February, but some still don’t know where they will go.
The city hired Vicky Agnor, administrator of the Rockbridge County Department of Rental Assistance, to help the residents relocate. By Nov. 1 more than half of the residents must find another place to live.
Once all of the residents have moved out, the building will be renovated as a boutique hotel.
