Rockbridge County may replace unmanned dumpsters

By Kylee Sapp

Most county residents don’t have curbside trash pickup. Instead, they take their garbage to one of the many unmanned sites throughout the county. The sites are convenient, but difficult to patrol for illicit and commercial waste. The county’s director of solid waste is proposing to close some of the unmanned sites and open ones that are staffed.
